Pacha - october 28

Cold weather, dark evening. Arena full of activity, with four or five riders training their show jumping horses on fairly big fences. Rode Pacha while F. was on Milha. Draw reins very loose. Good standstill at halt when mounting: this problem seems to have gone now. Good shoulder-in at walk, left handside, smooth and fluid. More difficult again at right hand, but could not persist because of arena activity. Lots of horses rushing in all directions after their jumps - Pacha did not react much (hopefully!)...Posting trot ok, progressively bringing horizontal balance. A few reactions about scaring points, but it seems that the hullabaloo of the arena distracted Pacha from them! Good point today was a 10' session at sitting trot, without excitation and with regular pace. Canter left hand was fine, albeit one start on the wrong foot. Canter right handside ok too.Then walk with head/neck down, more so than before. A little sweat, quickly wiped out with brisk straw rubbing down. Good session for Milha, undisturbed and quiet at walk/trot.
